CAPRON, Frederick William.
Amateur.
Born at Westminster, London, 1st October 1860.
Died at Kensington, London, 18th January 1942.
The son of Frederick Lucas Capron of London he was educated at Tonbridge School, where he was in the cricket eleven in 1875, and later at Rugby School, where he was a member of the cricket eleven in 1877. He went up to Trinity College, Cambridge, where he played in trial matches for the University team he failed to get a place. He played in two first-class matches for the M.C.C. in 1881 and 1882. He gained his B.A.1882; M.A.1888, was admitted as a solicitor 1886 and practised in London.
In the 1881 Census he is shown as being in residence at Trinity College, Cambridge, aged 20.
