DateLine: 17th July 2010
A revitalised Bangladeshi side got better of Ireland as they levelled the ODI series. The performance was a stark contrast with the one that they displayed against the hosts in the first one-dayer as the visitors were in total control of the match for the major part of the encounter.

Irish skipper Porterfield won the toss and elected to bat first but that turned out to be a wrong one. The conditions were damp and the Bangladeshi bowlers used it to their favor as they ripped apart the hosts with some excellent display of seam bowling. The Irish wickets tumbled in a heap and had it not been for Wilson's counterattacking 60 the hosts would have had to settle for even lesser than the eventual 189.
For the visitors Tamim Iqbal got off to a flier as the hosts were battered black and blue. For the first time on the tour the southpaw got his bearings right as he hammered the Irish bowlers to all parts of the ground. There were no false alarms as Bangladesh cantered to an easy win to level the series.LATEST SCORES
