Mumbai, June 21 : The court in Goa didn't grant bails to the three top officials of the Goa Cricket Association on Monday, it is learnt here.

According to the sources in Goa, Chertan Desai (President), Vinod Phadke (Secretary) and Akbar Mulla (Treasurer) could not get bails and their police custody has been extended by four more days.

"They are sent back to the lock up at Panji police Head Quarter", the source added.

"They will remain in police custody for further interrogations. If Police is unable to complete the inquires within this time they will further be detained if no bail is granted again", the source added.

All three have been suspended by the Indian cricket board for misusing the association funds.

Interestingly, one more case has been filed against these officials by a former Ranji Trophy player.

The 50-year-old former right handed batsman and a right arm medium fast bowler Nilesh Prabhudesai has filed a complaint to the Economic Cell to investigate the sum of Rs. 5.87 crore, which was paid by the Indian cricket board to the association.

"The BCCI paid this money to the association on 31st March 2008 and the same is not reflected in the balance sheet of the association in 2007-08 and 2008-09", Prabhudesai, speaking exclusively over his mobile from Goa said on Monday late evening.

"Let the police investigate and file the charge sheet", he added.
