Former skipper Inzamam-ul Haq will bolster Pakistan's batting lineup after he was named in the squad for next week's second Test against South Africa, selectors said Friday.

The Test in Lahore starting Monday will be Inzamam's last after the 37-year-old batsman announced his retirement from Test cricket earlier Friday.
"Inzamam has been a great player for Pakistan and after he made himself available we have included him in the 16-man squad," chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed told a press conference.
"There is no change in the squad and Inzamam has been added to the 15-man team announced for the first Test," he added.
Inzamam, who has scored 8,813 runs in 119 Tests, ruled himself out of the first Test in Karachi which South Africa won on Friday by 160 runs.
Inzamam needs another 20 runs to surpass batting great Javed Miandad's Pakistan record of 8832 Test runs made in 124 Tests.
Fellow ace batsman Mohammad Yousuf is also likely to return to the playing eleven after he pulled out of the first Test here at the last minute on Monday, citing lack of match practice and fitness.
Squad: Shoaib Malik (capt), Salman Butt, Mohammad Hafeez, Taufiq Umar, Yasir Hameed, Younis Khan, Inzamam-ul Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul Haq, Faisal Iqbal, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Asif, Umar Gul, Danish Kaneria, Abdul Rehman, Iftikhar Anjum.(Article: Copyright © 2007 AFP)
