Kenya wicketkeeper Maurice Ouma has been reprimanded for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during his countrys ODI against Ireland at Stormont in Belfast, Ireland on 24 August (Sunday).

Ouma was found guilty of showing dissent by Mike Procter of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees in a hearing that took place after the conclusion of the match.
Ouma was found to have breached clause 1.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct which relates to abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings.
The incident in question took place in the 26th over of Kenyas innings when, after being declared caught at the wicket, Ouma slapped his bat against his pad and then kicked the bat a few metres as he walked towards the pavilion. The wicketkeeper-batsman, who scored 25 in Kenya s 33-run defeat, pleaded guilty in the hearing.
All Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a players match fee. In the case of Level 1 breaches, the match referees decision is final and a player does not have a right of appeal.
The charge was brought by umpires Peter Hartley and Ian Ramage.
Mr Procter reached his conclusion after a hearing attended by the player, the two on-field umpires, third umpire Alan Neill, Kenya manager Davinder Singh and captain Steve Tikolo.
