Biography: | He was known as Lord Strathavon from 1794 until 1836 when he became the Earl of Aboyne (when his father succeeded as 9th Marquis of Huntly) and succeeded as 10th Marquis of Huntly in June 1853. MP for East Grinstead 1818-1830, and for Huntingdonshire 1830-1831. He was President of MCC in 1821/22. |
