2013 profile
Marcus North is Glamorgan's overseas player for 2013, as well as their captain in one-day cricket.
The Australian has appeared in 21 Test matches and is currently also captain of Western Australia. During his Test Match career, the left-hander scored five centuries including 117 on his debut against South Africa as well as 125* in the 1st npower Ashes Test of 2009 against England at the SWALEC Stadium. He is also a useful off-spin bowler, with career-best figures of 6/55, against Pakistan at Lord's in 2010.
Marcus has previously played for five other counties, including Durham, Lancashire, Derbyshire, Hampshire and Gloucestershire. Whilst with the latter in 2007, he scored three centuries in five matches, including the fastest hundred of the domestic season, from 73 balls, against Leicestershire.
He made his debut for Glamorgan in 2012 and posted a century against Leicestershire at the SWALEC Stadium.
