John Baker's diary says Frame c, Page b, and confirms that both were out without addition at beginning of day 2. The batting order appears to be correct, so this means R May was not out. Other dismissal details are not available. Hampshire had Edmeads and Yalden as given men. Page is one of two brothers from Guildford, John or William. The ground is sometimes called Guildford Bason ('bason' is an 18th-century variant spelling of 'basin').
