Notes
--> Bowling in the Bathurst first innings adds 4 runs over

Our thanks to Arthur Haygarth for collecting the information and to Roger Heavens for providing this scorecard which was first published in Arthur Haygarth's Cricket Scores and Biographies Volume 16. Copies of the book can be obtained from http://booksoncricket.net . Additions or corrections to this scorecard would be gratefully received.
Match was unfinished, owing to rain.
England went in first in one account, but in another Bathurst. In other accounts Bowman is spelt Bonnor. Initials generally wanting and extras all jumbled up together. As with this and other matches showing great carelessness, laziness and want of interest in recording the game, by those employed.
Source does not make clear why West bowled but did not bat. No mention is made os a substitute batting.
C.T.B. Turner, later to become so famous as a bowler, was now only 16 years of age.
