There were present at this match His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales accompanied by the Princess, Count Karolyi the Austrian Ambassador, Lord Macduff, Lord Clonmel, Mr. Christopher Sykes, M.P., Lord Hinchinbroke and Mr. F. Knollys, &c. A handsome entertainment was given by Colonel Ewart when about 300 guests sat down.
