Our thanks to Arthur Haygarth for collecting the information and to Roger Heavens for providing this scorecard which was first published in Arthur Haygarth's Cricket Scores and Biographies Volume 16. Copies of the book can be obtained from . Additions or corrections to this scorecard would be gratefully received.
Source has Mr Bradshaw's team batting first and notes that "Presuming too that the score is drawn up correctly it will be observed that not a single catch was made except one by the bowler. If so, the event is almost if not quite unique. In the sporting papers Mr. Fowler's side went in a second time as shown. It is presumed however that this portion of the match was merely played to fill up some time left and to promote further laughter." The card has been restated to show Mr Fowler's team batting first.
