Heavy rain on Saturday morning prevented any further play and the game was abandoned as a draw. Wood top-scored for Oxfordshire with 59 not out. For Cambridgeshire, O'Connor took 7 wickets for 45 runs in the Oxfordshire first innings. This was Cambridgeshire's only Championship match of the season as they scratched the re-arranged match due to be played at Oxford later in the month. Match reports stated Lee failed to turn up for the match, but no reasons were given. He was to make his debut for Oxfordshire in their next match v Buckinghamshire at Aylesbury.
[Missing: Part fall of wickets; in Oxfordshire 1st inns boundaries in Wood's 59 not out, and why Lee absent; in Oxfordshire 2nd inns extras breakdown.]
