Worcestershire completed the double over Hertfordshire by winning this return match by an innings at 4.00 pm on the second day. Play was delayed on the first day by a heavy thunderstorm until after 1.00 pm. For the winners E G Bromley-Martin took 11 wickets in the match for 107 runs, including 7 for 65 in the Hertfordshire second innings. He bowled unchanged in both innings with Bird who took 9 wickets for 65 runs. Bird also scored 57 in the Worcestershire innings, which included 3 fours. In the Worcestershire innings, Bowley and Millward added 57 runs for the seventh wicket, and Burrows and Bird 44 for the ninth wicket, and Bird and Straw 47 for the tenth wicket.
