This rain-affected match was drawn with no decision on first innings. Play on the first day was delayed for an hour until 12.30 pm, and then only two overs were bowled before rain drove the players back into the pavilion. The game started again after lunch, but shortly after Gresson was dismissed rain returned and play was not resumed until just before 4 pm. On the second day rain again stopped play after Bedfordshire had scored 49 for 2 wickets in their first innings and the match was subsequently abandoned. For Buckinghamshire,Hobbs scored 57 and Bird 55. [The Bedfordshire bowling analysis has not been found in any of the sources listed and has been derived by subtraction from the Bedfordshire averages published in Wisden and the Bedfordshire Annual Report. In addition, Page's bowling analysis has been reconciled with the Buckinghamshire averages in Wisden.]
[Missing: Extras breakdown; part fall of wickets; in Buckinghamshire inns boundaries in Hobbs's 57 and Bird's 55, and Bedfordshire bowling analysis.]
