Wiltshire won by an innings and 94 runs at around 3.00 pm on the second day.
For the winners, Ellison scored 87, Overton 64 and Warrilow 52.
In the Wiltshire innings, Whittaker and Overton added nearly a hundred runs for the tenth wicket.
Smart took 9 wickets in the match for 94 runs.
For Dorset, Williams scored 75 and Andrew 51.
The Rev R S K Blucke, who was to have kept wicket for Dorset, had to cry off because of a hand injury incurred the day before.
Manfield kept wicket, even though he had a tooth knocked out on the Tuesday, which partly explains why 49 extras were conceded in the Wiltshire innings.
[Missing: Umpires; first day score; extras breakdown; fall of wickets; in Wiltshire innings who held substitute catch, and boundaries in Ellison's 87, Overton's 64 and Warrilow 52 ;in Dorset second innings boundaries in Williams's 75 and Andrew's 51.]
