This rain-affected return match was drawn, with Glamorgan winning on first innings. The match between the two sides at The Oval in July had also been drawn, with the single point going to Surrey 2nd XI. No play was possible on the first day before 4.00 pm because of rain. The Glamorgan second-innings declaration set the visitors a victory target of 132 runs in 70 minutes. For Surrey 2nd XI, Smith took 11 wickets in the match for 104 runs. Goatly with 46 not out and Graburn with 41 not out played the two highest innings of the match. Both contained 5 fours.
