For the winners, Smith's 55 included 11 fours and Smart took 7 wickets in the Hertfordshire first innings for 40 runs. For Hertfordshire, Butcher played the highest inning with 36. In the Hertfordshire first innings, Marsh and Harford put on 52 runs for the seventh wicket.
