For the home team, White scored 85, Coleman 73, Dumbelton 69 and Butcher 52. In the Hertfordshire first innings, Dumbelton and Dwight put on 77 runs for the eighth wicket. Coleman took 9 wickets in the match for 80 runs. For Bedfordshire, Taylor and Wharmby added 68 for the eighth wicket in the first innings.
