Glamorgan won by an innings and 223 runs on the second day, after enforcing the follow-on. For the winners, there were 22 fours, 5 threes and 11 twos in Riches's 171, an innings of 4½ hours, and 1 six, 14 fours, 1 three and 13 twos in Brain's 117. Sweet-Escott's 93 contained 11 fours and Letcher's 75 7 fours. In the Glamorgan innings, Riches and Sweet-Escott added 182 runs for the fifth wicket, and Letcher and Brain 157 for the seventh. For the losers, Hooman's 74 included 12 fours and Blackburn's 50 9 fours. In the Devon second innings, Hooman and Blackburn added 102 for the second wicket. The Glamorgan total of 540 was the highest of the season. The 44 overs bowled by Light were the third most in an innings and the 162 runs he conceded the second most in an innings during the season.
