Drawn return match with Hertfordshire winning on first innings. The match between the two teams at St Albans in July had been won by Hertfordshire. Hertfordshire did not enfoce the follow-on, and the declaration left Norfolk 110 minutes to score 344 runs to win. For the visitors, there were 16 fours in Golding's 99, 8 fours in White's 59, and 1 six and 7 fours in Titchmarsh's 53. Coleman took 7 wickets for 86 runs in the Norfolk first innings. For the home side, G A Stevens's 118 not out included 1 five, 17 fours, 3 threes and 9 twos, and was scored in around 90 minutes. In the Norfolk second innings, G A Stevens and Wharton put on 129 runs for the third wicket.. It was the highest score of the season in the fourth innings of a match. Dunell's 56 contained 8 fours.
