Notes
--> There was no play on the final day.
--> A Windsor-Clive made his last appearance in Minor Counties Championship matches
This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project - research is continuing on this scorecard which can be expected to change.
This return match was drawn with a heavy rainstorm forcing play to be abandoned at 4 pm on the first day. There was no play possible on the second day due to the continuing poor weather. Earlier in the season Surrey had triumphed at The Oval. For Surrey there were ?? boundaries in Sandham's innings of 57 not out whilst Hacker took 4 of the 6 Surrey wickets to fall at a cost of 65 runs. In spite of occasional showers on the first day there were around 1500 people in attendance.
[Missing: In Surrey innings fall of fourth wicket and boundaries in Sandham's 57 not out.]
