A heavy shower fell between the innings and the ground became very wet, J Bailey fell head first onto his wicket when taking a run and the umpires could not agree as to whether he was out or not. It was agreed by both teams to leave the decision to the Toronto Cricket Club. The decision was that Bailey was out, and so 20 runs were deducted from his score.
