Player: | DA Davies |
Aubrey Davies was a talented young all-rounder with the Swansea club in the 1930`s, and the right-handed batsman and leg-spinner played for Glamorgan between 1934 and 1938.

After some fine performances in club cricket, the 19 year old Davies made his Glamorgan debut against Leicestershire at Hinckley in 1934 as Glamorgan began a policy of blooding local talent. In the course of the next few seasons, he played some promising innings in their middle-order, although he only scored one half-century, against Surrey at the Oval in 1937.
His leg-spin only yielded 14 wickets at first-class level, and despite some decent performances at 2nd XI level, Davies left Glamorgan at the end of 1938. He subsequently played Minor County cricket for Devon.
