Player: | M Frost |
Mark Frost graduated to the first-class game via League cricket in the West Midlands, minor County cricket for Staffordshire and university cricket with Durham.

The fast-medium seam bowler had trials with several counties, including Lancashire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, before being offered a contract by Surrey. He played for the London club between 1988 and 1989, and despite being one of their most successful bowlers in 2nd XI cricket, he had limited opportunities and moved to join Glamorgan in 1990.
He subsequently spent four years on the Welsh county`s staff, during which time he claimed 144 first-class wickets. He took over 50 wickets in 1990 and 1991, and won his county cap in the latter season. 1991 also saw `Frosty` produce career-best figures of 7/99 against Gloucestershire at Cheltenham.
After retiring from first-class cricket Mark Frost worked for the Sports Council for Wales, before serving as Director of Cricket for the Cricket Board of Wales between 1999 and 2004. In January 2005 he rejoined the Sports Council for Wales.
