Gwynfor Davies was the younger brother of Emrys Davies, and like his illustrious brother, Gwynfor was a useful all-rounder. He played seven matches for Glamorgan in 1932 as the club gave opportunities to promising young Welsh cricketers.

 

Although the right handed batsman and seam bowler never played again at first-class level, he played for Glamorgan`s 2nd XI in their Minor County matches in 1936 and 1937.
