In the upcoming Champions Trophy, Pakistan would be looking to defeat India and fill up for the loss they suffered six years in a World Cup match. Skipper Younis Khan says that the defeat still hurts and the side is eyeing revenge when the two sides clash in the match on September 26.

"It hurts. I played that match. We scored 270 and still lost. A score of 250 in these conditions is considered safe. But the way Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag batted, and backed by Rahul Dravid and Yuvraj Singh, we lay beaten. That defeat still hurts," Younus said in a pre-tournament press conference in SA. "Indeed, we have lost to India in most of these ICC match-ups except only once, he added.
Meanwhile, the captain after having picked up a finger injury during the warm-up match against Sri Lanka, will undergo a scan on Monday.
Younis had sustained a hairline fracture in the index finger of his right hand during the match and X-ray would be done to ascertain the seriousness of the injury.
However, team manager, Yawar Saeed, said that the injury was not serious and the skipper, who would be missing next warm-up match on Sunday against a local side, will be ready for their September 23 campaign opener against the West Indies.
"The injury does not look like a serious one and we are very hopeful that he would be fit for the tournament," Saeed said. "But Younis will have another X-ray on the finger on Monday after which it will be clear when he can resume playing," he added.LATEST SCORES
