Tribute 1Lahore, September 27 2009: In a message to the Pakistan team, the Chairman and Members of Board of Governors, Pakistan Cricket Board have extended their warm felicitations to the team on their outstanding performance and victory against India in an ICC Champions Trophy match. In the statement issued, they expressed their confidence in the team and hoped that team will go on playing like this to win the trophy for the Nation.
 
"It was a real team performance where every player was feeling his responsibility. Pakistan team has immense potential and despite of all odds they are delivering", the statement adds. "These successes will help the world realize the importance of bringing cricket back to Pakistan", the statement concludes. 
Tribute 2Lahore, September 27 2009: Former Chief Executive of PCB Col Rafi Nasim, in a message issued here today, has said, "It is a matter of great pleasure for me to extend, on behalf of all the nation, my sincere felicitations to Pakistan Cricket Team. They make us all proud. I congratulate them on this occasion and wish them every success."
 
"The team is really picking up, and this is evident from its performance in last 9-10 months. Winning a series from West Indies, having a close series with world champions Australia, winning the T20 World Cup and now almost a confirmed berth in semi-finals of ICC Champions Trophy are just a snapshot of team's commitment and resolve towards their game and the nation", he added. 
"PCB and its Chairman should also be given its due as all these successes reflect that the board is concentrating on what their primary job is, i.e. to prepare the team, I congratulate them too", he adds. 
Tribute 3Lahore, September 27 2009: Former Test Captain Imtiaz Ahmed also congratulated the Pakistan Team on this great victory. In his Message he said "I am delighted to take the opportunity to send a message of support and encouragement on this occasion. I would like to congratulate and commend both the teams on playing competitive cricket and providing entertainment to the people as the match was played in a spirit of the best traditions of the game."
