India defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the fourth one-day international here on Thursday to take a decisive 4-0 lead in the seven-match series.

 

The hosts overhauled Sri Lanka's 261 in the 46th over with Mahendra Dhoni sealing the win with two consecutives sixes off Russel Arnold.

 

The fifth match will be played under lights at Ahmedabad on Sunday.
