Notes
--> When play was halted WSC West Indies needed to have scored 221 runs to win

Attendance: 19,784
With some quite useful contributions from the top order and a sixth wicket partnership of 99 between MF Kent and RW Marsh, Australia posted a quite impressive total.
West Indies replied quite well but it was Lloyd, suffering a pulled leg muscle and using Austin as his runner who held the lower order together and brought his team within a short distance of victory when the rain came.
On a check of the scoring rate West Indies was declared winner and this being their third victory they were declared winners of the International Cup and the fifth final was not played.
