This return match was drawn, with rain delaying the start on the first day until after noon, and preventing play on the second day from lunch onwards. Glamorgan had won the previous encounter between the two teams at Cardiff in June. For the visitors, Creber took 10 wickets in the match for 110 runs, including 7 for 39 in the Monmouthshire first innings. Bancroft top-scored with 72. Silverlock scored 79 not out for Monmouthshire.
