Glamorgan won by four wickets at 5.55 pm on the second day, after chasing successfully a victory total of 76 runs with just 30 minutes to bat. There were several rain interruptions on both days, including stopping play 45 minutes early on the first day and delaying the start by a similar amount on the second day. For the winners, Morgan scored 80 and J H Brain 54, which contained
1 six and 5 fours. In the Glamorgan first innings the pair put on 112 runs for the third wicket. For Devon, Light scored 92, containing 12 fours, and Allenby 54. In the Devon first innings they added 104 runs for the fourth wicket.
