Glamorgan won this return match shortly after lunch on the second day. The game between the two teams at Cardiff in July had been drawn. For the winners, Russell took 10 wickets in the match for 70 runs. For Devon, the 5 catches held by Sandford in the match were the most by a fielder during the season, a feat equalled by two others. Aston was unable to bowl on the second day due to a strained back.
