The match between the two sides at Cardiff in July had also been won by Glamorgan. For the winners, there were 14 fours and 6 threes in Bancroft's 105, scored in 110 minutes. His 61 in the Glamorgan second innings included ?'4's and he reached his 50 in just over 20 minutes. Sweet-Escott's 50 contained ?'4's.
Creber took 10 wickets in the match for 202 runs, including 8 for 69 in the Berkshire first innings.
