Wiltshire won this semi-final match with a day to spare by 128 runs at 4.20 pm on the second day. Rain had fallen for several days before the match and because of the wet wicket the start on the first day was delayed until after 2.00 pm. Bad light subsequently stopped play early shortly after 6.00 pm. Lincolnshire required 204 runs to win in their second innings with over 3 hours of play remaining, but the 'pitch was cut up a great deal' and their innings lasted just 90 minutes. For the winners, Mitchell and Newman both took 10 wickets in the match for 54 and 72 runs respectively, and Nicholson scored 61 not out.
