Drawn return match with Lancashire winning on first innings. When the two sides met at Harrogate in May, the match had also been drawn. For Lancashire 2nd XI, Heap achieved the rare feat of taking all 10 wickets in the Yorkshire first innings for 74 runs, statistically the second best innings bowling performance of the season, and 12 for 158 in the match. There were 2 fours in Hartley's 63, 5 fours in Higson's 56 and 4 fours in Aiscough's 55. For Yorkshire 2nd XI, Roebuck's 60 contained 9 fours, Rudston's 56 5 fours, Hardisty's 55 2 fours and Frank's 54 not out 1 five and 7 fours. In the second innings Rudston and Hardisty added 103 for the second wicket. On the second day, rain started to fall heavily at 5.00 pm and the match was subsequently abandoned.
