Mark Davies was a useful left-arm spinner who played once for Glamorgan in 1990, against Oxford University at The Parks.

 

Davies was initially on the M.C.C. groundstaff, and he played with some success for the Glamorgan 2nd XI and Colts team. However, his first team chances were limited to just this one game, and at the end of the 1991 season he was released from Glamorgan staff. He subsequently joined Gloucestershire, for whom he played between 1992 and 1995.

 

After leaving the first-class game, Davies has continued to play with success in League cricket and he has been a member of the Wales Minor County team.
