A bowler of medium height, with a long hustling run-up and an open chested action, Rampaul is one of those few refreshing sights for the long suffering West Indian supporters. Always ready to give in all his best, Rampaul considered as one of the future players to watch out for. Along with his energy and enthusiasm, Rampaul brings in unbridled aggression to the bowling crease. Capable of unleashing some brute bouncers along with an unplayable yorker, Rampaul can be considered to be an asset for any cricketing captain. One of the few things that go against him is that he tends to let his emotions get better of him and in trying to unsettle the batsmen tends to spray the ball around.
