Indian cricket's apex body, the BCCI terminated the services of Venkatesh Prasad and Robin Singh, India's bowling and fielding coaches respectively, with immediate effect.

 

Prasad and Robin Singh, both former India players, were appointed following India's disastrous campaign at the World Cup 2007.

 

There were media reports which said that Kirsten wanted his own team for the following positions and skipper MS Dhoni himself was not happy with India's performance with the leather and on the field recently. The skipper had been vocal about his displeasure over these.
