India's depleted fast bowling resources got worse as S Sreesanth has been ruled out of the Test series. Sreesanth underwent an MRI scan which revealed a medial collateral ligament tear in his left knee and since his injury was serious, it was decided to send him back home. A replacement for Sreesanth will be announced shortly.
