Rishton have signed 24 year-old Dale Phillips as professional for 2023.

 

Born in South Africa, Phillips now plays for Otago in New Zealand.

 

A right handed batsman who also bowls off spin Phillips has scored 1047 runs at 37.4, including three centuries since his First-class debut in 2019.

 

Phillips played for New Zealand in the Under 19 World Cup in 2016 alongside his older brother Glenn.
