Son of H.Twigg, Weeping Cross, Stafford.
Entered at Repton School in April 1898. Cricket XI 1901 1nd 1902. Football XI 1900 and 1901. Left July 1902. Went up to King's College, London. Played hockey for England 8 times 1909-10.
He became an Electrical Engineer.
Brother of Charles Hanbury Twigg (Western Province) and Francis William Twigg (Staffordshire).
