Biography:One of the first ever Boy Scouts who attended Baden-Powell's first camp at Brownsea Island, Poole, Dorset, 29th July to 9th August 1907. He was the founder (1927) of Kenya Kongonis CC.

Occupation:Assistant works manager at Gateshead for the London and North Eastern Railway. Chief mechanical engineer of the Kenya and Uganda railways, and later of Sudan railways. General manager of the Aire and Calder Navigation in Yorkshire.
