Died: | 17th August 1916, near Méricourt-l'Abbé, Somme, France |
Biography: | After leaving school he joined the Army, but deserted and went to Australia and then South Africa, where he worked at Robben Island leper colony. His desertion was later pardoned and he became an Anglican clergyman. He died in WW1 from wounds received in action. Captain, Manchester Regiment |
