Twelfth men: JS Bickerton (New South Wales Country), GK Read (South Australia Country)
Match notes
New South Wales remained a chance to again win the Championships trophy but an outright win was essential. They began well and by the close of the first day held a handy first innings lead. On the second morning both South Australian openers were quickly removed before Mosey, Sweet and Elliott each scored half centuries and in the end the New South Wales effort was thwarted.
