On the second day of the match DA Bichel did not field, suffering boils and DC Mengel fielded in his stead. Injury prevented DFE Bull completing his second over. J King batted 199 minutes for New South Wales Colts, hitting twelve fours.
Rain completely washed out the third day of play. Because of exams at the same time as the match BC Booth was unavailable to play for New South Wales Colts.
