Match notes
With the four day Sydney Gregory Cup match finishing quite early on the third day it was decided to play a One Day match on the scheduled fourth day. Play commenced at 9.30 a.m. and Queensland Colts once again quite outplayed New South Wales Colts and the match concluded at 1.55 p.m. with only fifty-eight overs being bowled. The main destroyer for Queensland Colts was MD Pascoe who had been twelfth man in the Sydney Gregory Cup match.
