This return match was drawn, after Wiltshire required 108 runs to win in their second innings with 100 minutes to bat. Glamorgan had won the game between the two sides at Chippenham in June. No batsman scored fifty. The start of play on the second day was delayed by rain until 12.15 pm. In the Glamorgan first innings, W H Brain and Osborne added 54 runs for the eighth wicket. Letcher was unable to complete his twelfth over in the Wiltshire second innings, leaving the field with an injured hand, after stopping a drive from Miller. It was reported that two thousand spectators were present on the first day.
[Missing: Extras breakdown; in Glamorgan first innings fall of ninth wicket.]
