Northamptonshire won this low-scoring return match by 70 runs at around 3.00 pm on the second day.
Wiltshire had required 149 runs to win.
The game between the two sides at Northampton earlier in the month had also been won by Northamptonshire.
For the winners, Thompson and East bowled unchanged in both Wiltshire innings and took 8 wickets for 80 runs and 12 for 43 respectively.
No batsman reached fifty.
For Wiltshire, Overton took 7 wickets for 47 runs in the Northamptonshire second innings.
If Thompson had taken one more wicket, it would have been his one hundredth of the season, a feat he had achieved on two previous occasions.
Northamptonshire were Minor Counties Champions, having made sure of the title when beating Surrey 2nd XI at The Oval the previous two days.
Wiltshire had been their main rivals for the Championship.
This was to be Northamptonshire's last match in the Minor Counties Championship, following the decision of the MCC Advisory Committee to recommend on 16 August that the County be 'promoted'
to the First Class County Championship for 1905, a recommendation endorsed by the full MCC Committee in October.
Northamptonshire 2nd XI were to compete in the Championship for 10 years from 1950.
