Drawn return match with Cambridgeshire winning on first innings. The match between the two sides at Truro at the beginning of the month had also been drawn. For Cornwall, Donaldson scored 106 not out and H Tresawna played two innings of 50 and 51 respectively. In the visitors first innings Hawken and Trevarthen added 53 runs for the seventh wicket, while in the Cornwall second innings H Tresawna and Donaldson put on 137 runs for the first wicket. For the home team, Swann-Mason scored 70 not out and French 50. Gray took 7 wickets for 61 runs in the Cornwall first innings. On the first day rain prevented the start until shortly before noon, when just 45 minutes of play was possible. The resumption was delayed until 3.30 pm and play ended 20 minutes early due to bad light. During the match 14 players bowled, and who kept wicket for Cambridgeshire when Watts bowled.
