Drawn return match with no decision on first innings. The match between the two teams at Jesmond in June had also been drawn. There were 9 fours in G T Milne's 58 not out for Northumberland scored in 38 minutes. On the first day rain stopped the cricket at 3.00 pm after 15 minutes of the Yorkshire 2nd XI innings, and the match was abandoned for the day at 5.00 pm. On the second day, the match was abandoned at lunchtime when it had become clear that no further play would be possible.
